DHT-Based Blockchain Dual-Sharding Storage Extension Mechanism

The expansion of blockchain storage has become a major problem limiting the application blockchain. From perspective improving scalability storage, DHT (distributed hash table)-based dual-sharding extension mechanism (DBDSM) is proposed. nodes in network are divided into m clusters. Each cluster includes n nodes, and stores 1/m transaction data, within each store part data allocated to that cluster. In this way, node pressure alleviated. Furthermore, hybrid query been designed achieve efficient querying without changing original state query. Simulation results showed query, space consumed by only s/(m × n) used traditional method; when number faulty does not exceed s − 1, integrity can still be ensured. For queries, average hops was 1.99, greatly efficiency sharded state.
